Pie Chart of Deprivation

This is a pie chart of my life right now.  It is the pie chart of deprivation.

I have been detoxing for a week and a half now.  No meat, no wheat, no alcohol, no caffeine, limited dairy (aiming for soy and goats-milk replacements wherever possible), no sweets/chocolate – NO FUN!  To make matters worse, I am a comfort-eater and in times of high stress or pressure, I turn to my friend, Chocolate.  The last two weeks at work have been high intensity.  Sans chocolate has not only impaired my ability to think and be creative, it’s also undermined my ability to cope with the strain.

Is it possible that I actually NEED sweets to survive?  Could I be doing myself some hard by denying that which my body is screaming for?
